GRATEFUL—Above, 6-year-old Teddy Ward meets Chris Markey, an emergency medical technician with McCormick Ambulance Service during a June 25 recognition ceremony for first responders at Station 89 in Agoura Hills. The boy fell 25 feet in Topanga last year and a quick response by firefighters & McCormick Ambulance EMT's saved his life.

 

Below, Tom Kitchin, second from right, joins the firefighters, paramedics and McCormick EMT's  Mitchell Levy & Chris Markey who saved his life when he suffered a heart attack at his home in Calabasas.
